    Hey Mike

    I caught up on all of your posts:) How fun that you have kept track of all your training and races. I sure wish I would’ve done a blog for my first Ironman. It’s great to go back and read how you trained and all the ups and downs. Maybe I should start one.
    Also congrats on your 3place finish at Rev 3. Your times where awesome!

    P.s I saw that you might be racing Racine this year. I was also thinking of doing that one. My plans were to race Muncie again, but some of my family lives at Racine so they are begging me to race there. Anyway I’ll see.

    Hey Mike I just want to say thanks for the great blog. I, too, am an old-school mountain biker who swam as a kid. I have never run. Ever. I mean, in football practice in high school I guess the lineman had to run a lap. Does 400m count? Anyway I decided last fall to do an IRONMAN and so I’m training. I’m grateful to have found your blog – a well-written and constructed series of articles that document a journey I can directly relate to!!
    I’m reading the whole blog from the start and in my world you have just finished IMWI for the first (only?) time.

      Hey Sean! Wow… thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you can relate to my journey… 400 meters counts a little! ha… yeah, same for me… more into baseball and running 90 or 180 feet. But your quick twitch muscles can help in long distance…I think anyways. Now it’s a matter of building the frame and, maybe even more importantly, the belief system. If you ever have any questions, feel free to email me and I will gladly answer anything I can… It’s a lot to digest and I writing it all out helps me remember exactly where you are right now… Where are you racing? mtarrolly@gmail.com
